Posted by admin in Steroids & Sport Category. Reviewed and Updated: 20 June, 2019

Steve Cook is a rising star in bodybuilding. He is the representative of the aesthetic direction in this sport called “Men’s Physique.” Many people think Men’s Physique athletes do not use anabolic steroids. But unfortunately, this is not so. In this article, we’ll try to understand whether Steve Cook uses ‘roids or not.

A Biography of Steve Cook: His Path in Life

Like many other sports people, Steve was interested in physical exercises in his childhood. This concern was encouraged by his father, a school sports coach. The boy’s daddy considered exercising a momentous part of a solid daily routine. That’s why Steve could go out with friends only after doing push-ups.

However, this was not a drag to him, instead, he demonstrated a marked enthusiasm for the sports regiment that prevailed in his house. His athletic desire continued to grow. While a secondary school pupil, he began to exercise with iron, combining it with gridiron. In the gym, Steve showed exceptional strength, performing a hefty 320 pound barbell bench press.

Several years after the completion of his gridiron career, he completely devoted himself to the gym.

The sportsman has noted that many of the merits in his fitness career, and the desire to pump up his flawless physique and become stronger, were influenced by the “The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding: The Bible of Bodybuilding” written by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

This esteemed book became the foundation that helped Steve build his unrivaled physiology. His first graded rivalry was held in 2009. He secured the victory, which is extremely rare among amateurs.

The next triumph was in 2010 and, upon receiving the Pro Card, the sportsman explained a few issues in his intimate relationship: his marriage, which had lasted for four years, was over.

Endeavoring to cope with this problem, Steve devoted all his energies and imagination to gym workouts, making his body and shape unprecedented. He considers muscle builders of the Golden Age of Bodybuilding as his main sources of inspiration. These sportsmen include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Serge Nubret, Frank Zane, Lee Labrada, and Steve Reeves. As a child, he met Arnie personally, who infected the kid with the desire to pump iron.

As of 2019, Steve is 34 years old. His height is ‎6’1” (183 cm), and his competitive weight is about 210 pounds. He has the status of a professional bodybuilder. Cook signed multiple agreements with behemoth manufacturers of sports supps and often takes part in photoshoots for various fitness magazines.

Steve Cook’s Personal Life and Girlfriend

For several years, Steve told his followers on Instagram and Twitter he’d married a gal he met while studying in college. However, the marriage of this couple began to gradually disintegrate. Eventually, the sportsman’s wife filed for divorce. This fact did not break the celebrity, on the contrary, he began to work on himself with even greater intensity.

In 2013, Steve began dating the blonde stunner Carlie Butler, who has a fairly popular video blog on YouTube called CarlieStylez. She has an amazing body she successfully shows off in social media networks and on her channel, appearing for many photos in hot swimsuits.

But she was not as enraptured with fitness as her boyfriend. Therefore, they had some different perceptions concerning the purposes of life. This twosome broke up in 2015. But the man did not remain lonely for a long time.

Since 2017, his current squeeze has been Courtney Alexis King (@courtneykiing on Instagram). This couple is obsessed with fitness. Courtney was a finalist in the IFBB Bikini Olympia competition twice and won 2016’s Bikini Olympia.

Steve Cook’s Nutrition Plans: Healthy Proteins, Carbs, and Fats

Proper nutrition is an integral part of any training regimen and healthy lifestyle. Consuming protein, complex carbohydrates, veggies, and healthy high-fat foods, you supply your body and mind with the nutrients it craves.

Protein. Steve’s diet is rich in proteins and it does not contain much carbohydrate. Proteins repair and build body tissues, including muscles. The protein contains the basic adobes known as amino acids. Our body synthesizes all of them, except for nine exceptions to the rule, therefore these amines are called essential. To maintain muscle growth, Steve consumes about two grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. The main sources of protein for Steve are chicken, beef, and turkey.

Carbohydrates. Three of Steve’s six meals per day contain carbohydrates such as potatoes and rice. Steve recommends consuming 30 percent of the carbohydrates from the daily norm two to three hours before training.
Fats. Steve does not forget about fats and knows the body also needs them. It’s better to eat mostly unsaturated fats (such as those contained in fish and some plant oils) instead of non-saturated fats, which are found in red meat and milk. Unsaturated fats have many beneficial effects. They are needed for the heart, and to improve sleep and brain functioning. They also strengthen bone tissue, which is very important when it comes to intensive training with iron.

Steve also takes sports supplements such as protein, omega-3, glutamine, BCAA, creatine, zinc, magnesium, etc.

Steve Cook and Steroids

Steve Cook claims he’s wholly natural. The sportsman has also never given his opinion on steroid drugs. There seems to have been minimum additions to his size and muscle volume since his last days in high school. His face has remained the same (the cheekbones did not increase). In addition, the athlete has clean and clear skin without acne (acne is a common side effect of steroids, such as Anadrol and Turinabol). All of these facts bolster his claims on steroid use, and we have no evidence that Steve Cook is a steroid user.
