Many celebrities and athletes resort to the use of steroids and other drugs, such as Cytomel. Steroids (for example, Oxymetholone) help them get a great body and improve athletic performance. Dwayne Johnson (the Rock) is both an athlete and a celebrity with an excellent body. Therefore, many folks ask themselves: “Does the Rock take steroids?”

Dwayne Johnson’s Way of Life

Dwayne Douglas Johnson is a famous Hollywood actor, an American wrestler who has starred in over 300 films, most of which have brought him the permanent fame and title of a true Hollywood star.

Because of his appearance and the merits of the wrestler, the actor twice got into the Guinness Book of Records — for an unprecedented fee, which he received for performing his debut leading role ($5.5 million) and for the astounding number of selfies made with the actor in a short time (105 snapshots in 180 seconds).

He was born on May 2, 1972 in a family where all members made their bread with the help of wrestling. Father, cousins, grandfather, and uncles were professional wrestlers, the mother was the father’s manager, and the grandmother spent her entire life leading the Polynesian wrestling promotion. Since childhood, the actor underwent bodily exercises, his father took the boy with him to the competition and the gym, even at a young age. At 12, Johnson tried his hand by lifting the barbell, but he lacked strength and was pressed down by the barbell. This incident became a landmark for Dwayne, it was at that moment he wanted to prove to himself that no one else could beat him. Dwayne began serious training under the strict guidance of his father.

Looking at the appearance of the actor, there is no doubt that he has been wrestling since childhood. Few people know the fact that at school Dwayne was carried away by gridiron football, in which he reached significant heights. By the time of graduation from school, he received many offers from US universities. He picked the University of Miami. Johnson fully justified the expectations of the university regarding football. In the early 1990s, he won the NCAA National Student Championship as a member of the Miami Hurricanes team. Immediately after graduation, he signed a long-term contract with the American football team from Canada called “Calgary Stampede”, but after two months of the season, he stayed outside. He had to leave gridiron football because of a serious back injury.

The love of sport did not prevent him from becoming a graduate in psychology and criminology. It was the diploma of a lawyer that helped him in drafting contracts (law agreements) with wrestling companies. But already Dwayne felt he did not want to get bogged down in the routine of life and work in his specialty. He was a public figure and loved the attention of the public since the student years. It was love for publicity that became one reason for the beginning of his film career. But the main reasons for this were his activities and achievements as a wrestling performer.

Dwayne Johnson as an Actor

In 2000, Johnson wrote and published the autobiographical book “The Rock says …”, it was this book that became a bestseller and sparked interest in his person and caught the eye of Hollywood. His first role was in the movie “The Mummy Returns.”

Then he played the main role in its prequel, “The Scorpion King”. The film “The Scorpion King” revealed Johnson as an actor of action films, providing him with great popularity.

A separate stage of his life was a series of action films called “Fast and Furious.” Since 2011, Dwayne Johnson has become the permanent partner of Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. The fifth part of “Fast and the Furious” was specially created as a duet one for Jones and Diesel.

In 2014, the film “Hercules” was released, in which the Rock adequately embodied the Greek demigod. In 2017, Dwayne excelled himself as a comedian, starring in a film about lifeguards called “Baywatch.” In this picture, he starred along with Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Hannibal Buress, Jon Bass, Kelly Rohrbach, and Pamela Anderson.

He has also filmed in:

  • Longshot
  • Beyond the Mat
  • Doom
  • The Mummy Returns
  • The Rundown
  • Southland Tales
  • Gridiron Gang
  • Reno 911!: Miami
  • G.I. Joe: Retaliation
  • Tooth Fairy
  • Snitch
  • San Andreas
  • Empire State
  • Moana
  • Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
  • Hobbs & Shaw

Now he also acts as an executive producer of some movies, including Jungle Cruise (2020). In 2010 the Rock received the CinemaCon Action Star of the Year award. They also recognized the beauteous actor Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine.

Dwayne Johnson as a Wrestler

Inspired by the example of his father and grandfather, after a back injury in football, Dwayne Johnson became a professional wrestler. And he was not mistaken because in this combat sport he gained extraordinary fame. He became an excellent representative of the International Wrestling Industry (WWE), previously the International Wrestling Federation (WWF). In the period 1996-1997, he received his first WWF Intercontinental Championship title. He was a good guy, playing by the rules, this was good for him as an athlete, but spectators were tired of such an “honors pupil”.

It is because of this that Johnson took a timeout for a while, leaving the ring. He spent a long time in the gym, developing more and more sets of exercises for doubling his physical strength and muscle mass (probably taking natural steroids and synthetic ones). All this gave results, and he returned to the ring, earning the boundless love of his fans and winning 17 different titles as a champion in WWE competitions.
Some of WWE pay-per-view events where the Rock took part:

  • WrestleMania XV (1999)
  • Backlash: In Your House (1999)
  • Insurrextion (2000)
  • SummerSlam (2000)
  • WrestleMania X-Seven (2001)
  • No Way Out (2003)
  • Survivor Series (2011)
  • Elimination Chamber (2013)

Dwayne Johnson and Steroids

In one interview, Dwayne said he had tried to take steroids a long time ago when he had been a football player. However, according to him, he hadn’t noticed any tangible effect. But looking at the magnificent musculature of the Rock, it’s hard to believe he does not take steroids now. Most likely, he is familiar with such things as steroid injection sites and best HGH supplements, which are described on Steroids Sale Guide.

Some people suggest that Dwayne takes the following doping drugs:

  • Testosterone
  • Human growth hormone

Growth hormone helps to burn fat, gain good muscle mass, and increase EPO (erythropoietin), a substance that plays a huge role in the formation of red blood cells. Testosterone provides similar effects. The administration of this hormone would also explain the huge traps (trapezoid muscles) of the Rock, stemming from his wrestling days.
